This website has been produced as part of my work as a student at Queen's Theological College in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. I am studying for a Master of Divinity degree with a Concentration in Rural Ministry.

I have undertaken a project to see if cyberspace has anything to offer Christians in rural communities as they face the realities of 21st century living. As some churches in rural areas struggle to attract enough members to remain open, can anything of the fellowship we share when we come together be reproduced in cyberspace?

And can ministers find community on the Internet when often they are a long way from their nearest neighbouring clergy member. Can the isolation that some feel be reduced by being able to have discussions with other ministers via the Internet?

This website offers anonymity if you wish it as you can select a User Name that does not identify you to other visitors. Please be aware, however, that I have to write a paper about this website and I may quote items that have been added to this site unless specifically requested not to. However, the paper will only be read by my supervisor and a second reader and you will not be identified by anything other than your User Name.
